Head of Customer Development

Job Description

Story Health is an exciting startup building the future of specialty care with leading health systems and value-based organizations. Story Health is seeking a talented Head of CustomerDevelopment to join our team to drive growth and expansion of customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all customer development and expansion activities including customer implementations, customer relationship management, revenue conversion, customer growth and renewals
  • Maintain high level of client engagement, satisfaction and loyalty, as measured by referenceable customers, completed case studies and expanded contractual relationships
  • Develop deep customer relationships both with key customer stakeholders and critical referral sources
  • Drive patient growth efforts across client organizations including developing tailored account-level plans and strategies
  • Manage client issues and escalations, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams including clinical, business operations, product, and sales as required
  • Own our “expand” strategy within accounts including renewals, site expansion and contract expansions
  • Build and grow an excellent team as Story Health’s customer base grows
  • Iterate our overall implementation, revenue conversion and customer success processes, KPIs and tools
  • Help inform Story Health’s product by collecting and synthesizing customer feedback
  • Be a key contributor to a fast growing and dynamic organization

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years working in health tech managing executive relationships with enterprise healthcare organizations
  • Strong understanding of how to navigate both health systems and value-based organizations
  • Highly proficient communication, relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer orientation, with ability to identify problems and formulate solutions
  • Strong project management skills with ability to take on multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced, and changing team environment
  • Ability to hire and develop a high performing team
  • Openness to frequent travel (30%+)

Compensation

  • $200,000+ based on experience and qualifications
